Welcome! Humboldt Hand Wash is a small business located just off Alliance Rd in Arcata CA. We specialize in car cleaning and paint corrections. We offer many different services—it all comes down to which one fits YOUR needs best. We have a “wipe and shine” for the folks with the go-go-go attitude, as well as full interior details (something every car could use after a beach trip with the kids and dogs!) which are available by appointment.

My Name is Bo Recchio. I am an Alaskan Native (Inupiat/Inuit). I am the Owner, Manager, and Detailer here at Humboldt Hand Wash. I have always loved cars. I have over ten years of experience managing, fixing, selling, and detailing. I guess you could say, I’ve worn many hats when it comes to cars. I’ve sold luxury cars for my previous job as the finance manager of BMW of Humboldt Bay, and I have also washed cars in freezing rain and scalding sun. I’m here now because owning a business has always been a goal of mine. I’m excited to give back to the community, provide a service, and show my young son what it means to cultivate a dream.
I’m Raquel Hadley—the main detailer here at Humboldt Hand Wash. I’m of the Cherokee tribe and a prospective CR student! I totally didn’t know I had a passion for cars. I’m pleasantly surprised to find that not only do I enjoy learning about them, but I also love keeping them clean for you! Giving back to the community has been a rewarding and humbling experience. When I’m not here, I’m enjoying nature and reading.
